Well i didn’t watch the debate, as i was out playing trivia, but i’m sure it was probably as exciting as ever.  Newt and Mittens dualing to the death while Ricky accuses them both of things they adamantly deny.  And Ron silently stays in his bubble, looking on incredulously at the bickering buffoons.  But i wasn’t there, so that’s just a guess.

Anyways, i ended up metting someone that gave me much constructive criticism about UnHinged, so i’ve been spending the day making changes to flyers and what-not to improve my marketing.  I’m actually meeting with him on Monday for round 2.  Tomorrow is the health fair, so i’m rapidly trying to get these changes made and ready to go.  I also must pack up the van with all my goodies.  This morning i met with a dude from the Parks & Recreation department to go over everthing for tomorrow.  Unfortunately, the blue ink ran out again because the Beyond Tangy Tangerine brochures are mainly blue, so back to staples again for the 5th cartridge of ink i’ve had to purchase this week.

Hopefully we’ll hae a nice weather weekend.  i do need to finish dressing up the amaranth bed with mulched leaves.  And i want to get some summer cabbage, celery, radishes and carrots in the ground for spring harvesting.  These, like the peas and onions can tolerate light frosts.  And we’ve had such a mild winter, that i think they’ll probably be fine.  They just need a nice heay mulch to keep the young seedlings better protected from the cold.

Pretty soon it’ll be time to get the seeds started indoors that need to be transplanted after the last frost.  So start preparing for that.  Get out your seed catalogues and order the varieties of fruit and veggies for the spring/summer garden.  I’ll go through all of that at the beginning of February.  I’ve generally had a pretty successful spring garden, but i’ve made alot of mistakes in the process and will try to help all of you gardeners avoid making them too.
